In 1991-1992, CUHK SSPE was established within the Faculty of Education. CUHK was the first university in Hong Kong, China to introduce the part-time undergraduate programme in Sports Science and Physical Education in 1988.
Since then CUHK SSPE has offered full-time undergraduate programmes, full-time and part-time taught postgraduate programmes, research programmes, and a postgraduate diploma in education programme.
We provide students with enriched and diverse learning experiences so as to nurture them to become highly competent physical education teachers and/or sports-related professionals and leaders in the field.
